Natalie's Score: 92/100

A robust southern French red wine blend from the Crozes Hermitage region of the Rhone Valley. Calends refers to the day of the new moon and symbolizes the passing of time. Calendes makes a nod to this and to the blending of three terroirs shaped by the Rhone an Isere rivers. The vines are planted in alluvialand granitic soils. Classic aromas of black cherry, smoke and spice. Perfect for grilled meats.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Big and bold. Well structured with tightly-bound astringent tannins, medium-plus body. Blackberry, plum, cassis, graphite minerality. Pair with braised beef or a rare bbq steak. Tasted pre-release decanted 2h the 2015 vintage in Nov 2017. 92 points. #BespokeTastings
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Blueberry, barnyard and floral aromas with some graphite, spice and licorice flavors. Tasted November 2017

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
