Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Escondido 2016, made from 100% Tempranillo, offers pleasing aromas of sour cherry, fig, mustard seed, pastrami, dill, Tobacco and cedar. From the Ribera del Duero in Spain, this Spaniard delivers a full body, with plenty of spice and a vibrant finish. Palate: Tart cherry, dried blackberry, leather, dried rose, dill, spice and cedar. Enjoy.
From the Ribera Del Duero wine region, Escondido 2016 is a bone-dry Tempranillo produced by Bodega La Milagrosa. Look for ripe dark plum, dark berry and dark chocolate flavours on the palate with a lingering toasty oak finish. Nice now, enjoy with a roast of pork. - Community Wine Reviews
