Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Rhone-style GSM blend from organic producer Emiliana of Chile. Syrah leads with bold tannins, firm acidity, and ripe black cherry and plum before its blending partners soften the impact and round out the nose and palate. Fruit first with cherry and strawberry before balanced oak. Palate leads with fruit before tobacco smoke appears on the finish. The tannins and acids make this an ideal candidate matching with steak with mushrooms and pepper sauce. 52% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, and 23% Syrah.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a pleasant blend of blend of garnacha, mourvedre and syrah. Ample cassis and black cherry on the nose and palate. Fruity, full bodied and smooth. Try with burgers, pizza or pasta. Tasted August 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Signos De Origen La Cantera 2015 is a robust and richly layered Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah red wine blend from the Colchagua Valley wine region. Fragrant on the nose with earthy florals and ripe blackberry fruit with savoury herbs and pepper spice, juicy and finishing long on the palate. Structured with fine tannins. Easy to enjoy now. Pair with bison burgers. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
