Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fresh, light green apple and pomelo citrus. This blends well with tart nectarine stone fruit elements. Flavours are bright and crisp, reflecting yellow apples, hints of minerals, wet stone and light saltiness. Quite vibrant and lively with an eloquent mousse. Not overly sweet, dances nicely in the mouth. Medium plus acidity with a peachy mineral, zesty medium minus finish. Pair with soft cheeses and roasted salted nuts.
90 points - tasted December 2017
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Nov 13th 2017 at wine club. Colour pale clear with small bubbles. Aromas and flavours of pear, green apple, citrus, stone fruit. Taste dry, fresh acidity, mouthwatering.
Finishes with a clean crisp taste. We ranked it 3 out 5. Good value. This could be a nice crowd pleaser.
From the Veneto wine region, Drusian Brut Valdobbiadene is a delicate Prosecco with a lively mousse. On the palate, white pear, stonefruit, apple and great acidity. Chill and chill out with it on its own or pair with seafood hors doeuvres. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
