A spice cloud of pleasure on the nose featuring nutmeg, cinnamon, rose, lychee and white daisies. Unctuous and mouth-filling on the palate: a wine to fill and please every crevice. A tangerine, spice dusted extra long finish. Superb with Asian and curries.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

A near perfect Gewurz in my books. Almost Sauternes-like in viscosity, but still maintaining it beautiful, mineral-tinged acidity. Lychee, stone fruit, dark honey, and flowers sing on the nose and palate. There's a touch of spice here, with a creamy mouthfeel. Tough to pick a better wine to demonstrate why Alsace continues to be the king of this varietal. 96 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
