Loaded with black pepper, dark spice and intrigue on the nose of this beguiling, full-bodied red wine. Once again, Chapoutier over delivers no matter where he makes wine in the world. This is an incredible price. Dark fruit and smoke on the finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous wine featuring black fruit, pepper, dried purple flowers, baking spice, meat blood, and a hint of menthol. 92 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Generous aromas of deep dark fruit with cracked pepper and grilled meat notes. The story of Australia's Victoria region ably told with a Rhône sensibility. Full flavours presented with a lithe mouthfeel and offering a lovely touch of sweetness to the dark fruit. Silky tannins kick in and provide even more girth to the long and flavourful finish. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
