The vineyard Les Bois Cheveaux is planted in clay and limestone soils, dating back to 1277. It's considered the best in Burgundy's Givry sub-appellation. Aromas of black cherry, earth and spice. This Old World Pinot Noir has it all: medium boy, silky texture and long finish. It'll age well in the cellar. Pair with veal or roast chicken.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas of black cherry, black pepper, dried herbs and black tea with an earthy hint. On the palate there is vibrant acidity, bright, clear red fruit and berry, and more of the earthy hints on the finish. Body is medium and the tannins are light. There is a lot of life still in this wine. Enjoy with mushroom based dishes.
