This honkin' big red from Down Under just gets better every year! It's worth every penny. Full-bodied, smooth, complex and rich. Fleshy blackberry liqueur with some smoke, spice and mystery on the finish. The Shiraz grapes are grown in the Malakoff vineyard. Yum!

Shiraz food pairings: barbecued beef, bison, grilled or spice-rubbed chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Full bodied but light on its feet. This is the Warren Sapp of Aussie Shiraz. Lovely aromas and flavours of mulberry, black orchid and violets, along with white pepper, smoke, liquorice, and some hung game notes. This has a couple decades left in it. You can feel the deft hands of a Chapoutier in this wine. This is professional grade. 95 Points. Highly recommended.
The wine is produced as a collaboration between French wine grower Michel Chapoutier and wine industry notable Anthony Terlato. Decant 1-2 hours and get yourself a nice piece of grilled meat. - Community Wine Reviews
