Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This cool climate Sauvignon Blanc has flavours of ripe grapefruit, gooseberry, nettles, and stoney minerality that carry through on the lively, refreshing finish.
Pair with goat cheese, or creamy vegetable soup or seafood bisque.
Drink now, or keep until 2016.
Date tasted: October 2014.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Smells can be deceiving... this wine gives first wave of a rich fruity aroma of pineapple, goosberry, fresh peach, followed by the lemon and flint that hints at the true heart of the wine. The palate is full lemon-lime minerality that and a rush of mouth-watering acitidy, and a hint of grassiness. This is a wine that demands to be paired with food. I paired this wine with a fried goats cheese salad with baby arugala, candied pecans, and dried figs and balsamic vinegarette. The wine complemented the tanginess of the cheese and the bitterness of the greens, and contrasted the richness of the fried coating and candied nuts.
Notes of vibrant lemongrass, chives and asparagus. Very refreshing. - Community Wine Reviews
