A 2013 Pinot Noir that is ready for your glass and shows off aromas of cherries, plums and dark berries graces our table. It comes from Domaine Dubois Bernard & Fils via Bernard Perrin in the Burgundy region of France and turns out to be a very fine wine. On the palate, we enjoy herbal flavours of fresh earth, dark cherries and blackberries. Following fermentation, this wine was left to age in oak. Domaine Dubois Bernard & Fils owns 13 hectares of old vines (50 years) planted in limestone soils in three appellations: Chorey-les- Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune. Since 1800, the Dubois Bernard family has been making wine. Before undergoing a natural, wild yeast fermentation, the Pinot Noir grapes underwent a cold soak.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
