From Domaine Drouhin, Roserock 2019 Pinot Noir is a dry, medium-bodied, earthy PN with grapes sourced from Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley wine region. A lovely balance of vibrant red berry fruit, earthy florals, sous bois, dried tobacco leaf and subtle baking spice flavours rich, silky and finishing long on the palate. Drink or hold in cellar for up to 10 years.

Pinot Noir food pairings: rack of lamb, sausage cassoulet, grilled hanger steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This is stunning! Soft, fragrant, and flavourful. Aromas of cherry, violets, earth, cedar, and warm spice. Medium bodied, lovely, light tannins, and vibrant acidity. Fruit is fresh and ripe, and mingles well with the earthy, floral and spicy hints. Really lovely balance, and this wine seems delicate at first, but honestly explodes with flavour. Beautiful! This wine is so versatile, I would enjoy this with pretty much any food or on its own, but I think I will reach for it next time I'm having duck.
