Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of red cherry. dried fig, campfire smoke, and a hint of a candied note. Medium bodied with bright acidity on the palate, fruit flavours are fresh and ripe, and more smoky hints carry through on the finish. This wine has a nice amount of acidity to hang out with pasta dishes, but would also be nice with your Sunday pot roast.
Léon Millot is a sister variety to the Maréchal Foch grape. It produces a wine rich in raspberry and cherry fruit characteristics with subtle nuances of white pepper. This light-bodied, dry red wine is all brought together with a round mint chocolate finish.
