Reviews and Ratings

Louise Wilson - ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Certainly a crowd pleaser. Packed with flavours of raspberry, cherry cola, fruit leather and herb. A touch of spicy oak lingers on the finish. This medium body wine offers easy tannins balanced by juicy acidity. Perfect for lasagna Bolognese. 2013 – 2015. Tasted November 2013.
Made as a good-quality chug-a-lug style – pizza quaffing – and successful at it. Chewy tannin. Sweet-sour berried/cherried fruit. Light-to-medium in weight. Touch of earthiness. And there you have it. Overall effect is positive. In the right setting, you’d hoover this up. Drink 2012-2014. Score: 89 Source: Campbell Mattinson, winefront.com.au, July 14, 2012

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
