A lovely, full-bodied, smoky BC red wine made from the Shiraz grape. Aromas of fleshy black plum and dark spice. Perfect for grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with a purple hue. Elements of red plums, blackberries, cassis, black olives, forest laden cedar branches and red peppercorns with some noticeable gravelly rockiness. Flavours reveal blackberries, blueberries, ripe raspberries, haskap tartness, dried tobacco alongside spice box and smoky paprika heat. Mouthwatering high acidity, silky tannins and intricately layered spices - decanting recommended. This is full bodied and elegantly layered. This paired amazing with grilled lamb chops but would also be suitable with a good conversation with company. 91 points - tasted August 2018
