Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Elegant and modern, Cune Reserva 2014 from the Rioja region in Spain, reveals classic aromas of fig, dried blueberry, mustard seed, wet gravel, tobacco and oak. Crafted from 85% Tempranillo and 15% of Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo, the wine shows a medium body with polished tannins. The finally will satisfy the amateur of Spanish wine with its earthy and dry fruit finish. Palate: fig, raisin, dried blackberry, dried rose, parmesan cheese, cocoa and cedar. Enjoy!
Produced by Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España Cune 2014 Tempranillo Reserva is bright cherry, red berry, plum, pink florals, sweet spice flavours on the palate with a lingering savoury, smoky with vanilla spice finish. Nice now, better in 2021. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
