Vintages Wine Panel: Louis Roederer’s Cristal is one of the world’s most famous Champagnes, adored by celebrities and civilians alike. It demands fine foods like caviar or steamed shellfish. My note A fabulous sparkling wine with lovely notes of fresh brioche, hazelnut and green apples. A long, satisfying finish. Part of the Vintages Essentials Collection.

Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault, Sommelier rated this wine as 78/100 with the following review:

This Champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Deep golden color whit delicate bubble almost nonexistent.

A nose of grilled hazelnut, vanilla, green apple and mandarin.

This one is zesty, light-bodied and short on the palate.

Take it like aperitif.

Serve it at 5-6 degrees.

Ready to drink.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
