Candied raspberry and cherry fruit with a viscous mouth-coating texture. This icewine is higher in alcohol than most, which tend to be around 10%. Nonetheless this is balanced and very pleasing.

Ontario produces the world finest Icewine and this is a great example of Ontario Icewine. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, picked and pressed while the temperature was -8C or colder, the result is an ultra rich and sweet, and equally refreshing, wine with field berry notes, cran-cherry, and red delicious apple. Liquid apple pie! A delicious wine to enjoy with virtually any rich dessert, or strong cheese, like Stilton. Creedside Estate is producing some wonderful wines and this is another winner! Tasted February 2015. 90+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Candied raspberry, maraschino cherry, and a little vinyl on the nose with more artificial candy on the palate. Cloying mouthfeel, great acidity, and long candied berry (with a little heated ginger) finish. Overall a pleasant Icewine but, personally, I prefer less of the 'artificial candy' and more of 'citrusy honey'. Would pair well with aged hard cheeses, dark chocolate truffles, and, if you are feeling adventurous, some candied bacon.

Strawberry jam, sweet cherries on the nose
More red fruit and floral notes on the palate, mouth-coating sweetness with a light strawberry finish.
Chocolate covered raspberries!

Sweet smelling candied fruit nose, with some floral notes. The mouth feel is dominated by the sweetness and floral notes. This would go well with some strong cheeses to counteract the sugar.
