A vivacious Reserva with floral notes and dark cherry on the nose. It has a silky, warm, tense centre with a balanced finish. A juicy, luscious, full-bodied red with ripe plums and raspberries.

Tempranillo food pairings: roasted blue goose with cherries and wine sauce, stuffed breast of veal, steak and kidney pie.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Swear out loud good! Dark cherries, dark chocolate, vanilla and heady floral notes. Come to think of it - much like the cherry blossom chocolates I remember growing up! A wonderful tart cherry acidity on the palate, perfect with many dishes, including pastas, hard cheeses, and red meats.
A wonderful Reserva with floral, black cherry and spice aromas and flavours. It has a silky, warm, tense centre with a balanced finish. My note: A juicy, luscious, full-bodied red with ripe plums and raspberries. Vibrant and spicy, this lively red delivers bright cherry, berry, vanilla and toasty flavors, with citrusy acidity and light, firm tannins. Focused and graceful. Drink now through 2020. Score - 90 (Thomas Matthews, winespectator.com, July 31, 2015) Full-bodied & Firm. - Community Wine Review
