Corte Sant'Anna's Valpolicella Classico from Veneto is an elegant, full-bodied red wine blending Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella with notes of red cherry, dried fig, espresso and sandalwood. This dry wine displays ripe, polished tannins and impressive complexity that will continue to evolve over the next seven years. Serve it at room temperature with osso buco as the wine's structure stands up to the braised veal shank, or pair it with wild mushroom risotto where the wine's earthy character complements the umami flavors. Winemaker Luca Fedrigo crafts this exceptional Valpolicella from estate vineyards in the Classico heartland, where traditional winemaking methods and careful aging create wines of remarkable depth and aging potential that transcend the appellation's typical profile. Corte Sant'Anna is a small family estate dedicated to producing world-class wines from indigenous Veronese varieties, demonstrating that Valpolicella Classico can achieve the complexity and longevity of Italy's most prestigious wines. This outstanding wine earned an impressive 97 points at the 2022 Decanter World Wine Awards and will drink beautifully through 2032.

Valpolicella Classico food pairings: spaghetti and meatballs, Margherita pizza, veggie lasagne.
