Love it! Juicy delicious with aromas of purple plums and blackberries. Some dark cherries prance down the middle of this wine leaving you thirsty for a top up. Have fun with it!

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Valpolicella Ripasso has more of a new world take on an old world classic, with evident fruit forwardness on the bouquet and first sips. Slight acidity on the back-end, making this a great pairing for a wide variety of meals - from cheese boards and antipasto, to chicken parmesan and pizza.
Ripasso wines have made a big comeback over the last few years and this Valpolicella Ripasso from the Veneto D.O.C.G. region shows why. The wine is full-bodied and rich with black plum, raspberry and strawberry jam and finishes with anise and cake spice. What's not to love? Pair with grilled meats or Mediterranean veggies. - Community Wine Reviews
