Inky crimson in the glass, this Claymore Dark Side Of The Moon Shiraz unfolds dark-chocolate and blackberry compote, underscored by clove, bay-leaf and licorice notes; supple tannins and bright acid propel a long, savory finish. A great partner to grilled ribeye or spicy sausage pizza.

Shiraz food pairings: grilled New York striploin steak, roast leg of lamb, veal medallions in a rich wild mushroom sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark and brooding, with aromas of dark plum, black pepper, mocha, and warm spices. Full bodied on the palate with soft tannins, rich plum and dark berry notes, with a hint of pepper and warm baking spices on the finish.
