Chateau Ste. Michelle 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a silky, supple medium-plus-bodied Cab from the Columbia Valley, Washington wine region and excellent value under $22. Look for ripe blackberry, blueberry, pepper spice, fine herbs and juicy acidity on this easy-going Cab aged in French and American oak barrels. Founded in 1967, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled pepper steak, lamb chops on the barbie, stuffed, roast pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Washington State cabernet sauvignon revealed much to tempt the senses. Scents of ripe dark berries and sweet spices punctuated the superbly structured palate, too. Supple approachable tannins and an enticing extended aftertaste. Pair with grilled sirloin but this one is delicious all on its own. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lovely and flavourful. Aromas of cherry and currant, with hints of mocha, graphite and a some warm spicy notes. Full bodied, with mouthwatering acidity, and soft tannins, along with rich, ripe fruit and a lengthy finish. Enjoy with a pepper-seasoned steak.
