Vintages Wine Panel: Loaded with orange blossom and cherry aromas on the nose and fresh fruitiness and lively acidity on the palate. The 2009 vintage was even better than 2008, so expect more great results. My note: Provençal roses taste so delicate up front yet they pack a long and lasting flavour punch on the finish that seems to last as long as a sunset over the Mediterranean. Ripe strawberries waft out of the glass and over your mind and shoulders. Relax and unfold with the wine.

Rosé food pairings: bacon-infused risotto, grilled fish with an herb rub.

Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

'Appetizing style singing of Mediterranean France. Clean, fresh herbal aromas with invigorating aniseed over a ripe peach and tropical fruit palate with pretty floral notes, plum skin and stony mineral acidity.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
