Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Solid wine from Cotes de Bourg de Bordeaux, Chateau Rousselle 2015 offers typical aromas of fruitcake, cherry and plum, tobacco leaf, new leather, baking spice and cedar. Made from 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc, this full-bodied wine offers a nice structure, a well made balance and a supple finish. This classic Bordelais delivers flavors of red currant, red plum, bay leaf, cocoa, dill, spice and cedar. Excellent wine. Enjoy!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
