Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruit with suggestions of savoury herbs and minerality. Lively acidity and gentle tannins make for a delightful and easy-drinking red wine. Ripe blackberry, toasty oak, and a touch more minerality on the palate. The focus in Provence is rosé, but the region can produce very good reds like this. A versatile wine that will suit a wide array of dishes including pot roasts, portobello Wellingtons, or grilled vegetables.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a big wine with lots of structure, full bodied and chewy mouthfeel. Inky, dry, graphite minerality. Pairs well with charcuterie. Tasted 2015 vintage in April 2019. 89 points.
Château Paradis Essenciel 2015 is a well-priced Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah red wine blend from the Côtes De Provence wine region with ripe dark plum, toasty nut and vanilla flavours on the palate. Finishes with mineral notes. This winery is located in the heart of Provence between the Sainte-Victoire Mountain and the Luberon massif. Pair with juicy beef long ribs. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
