Lagrave-Martillac is the second label of the esteemed Bordeaux winery Château Latour-Martillac. It's a robust and elegant red wine blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot grapes. Aromas of cassis, pencil led and smoke. Decant for 1-2 hours. Pair with a rare steak.

Food pairings: venison stew, bison burgers, roast duck.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely! As the second label of Château Latour-Martillac, this wine is a sneaky good value Bordeaux. Blended from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, there are pronounced aromas of cassis, eucalyptus, graphite, and smoke. Tannins are pronounced but softened with decanting, and there is also a plushness on the palate, balanced with some high acidity. One to enjoy now after decanting or could lay it down for 5-8 years at least. Pair with a grilled steak.
