Lovely red floral, red berry nose on this bargain-priced Bordeaux. This is a traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Satin liquid and medium-bodied on the palate. Incredibly great value and quality. Long finish that's perfect with a variety of chicken and pork dishes. Decant 1-2 hours to soften the tannins. Stock up.

Food pairings: roast pork tenderloin, chicken, meat topped pizza, cheese fondue, fajitas.

Reviews and Ratings

The Château De Panigon (2013) is a Cru Bourgeois from the Médoc wine region in Bordeaux. In 2010, the Cru Bourgeois designation was reintroduced in its revised form. The designation is now only one level, and is awarded annually, as a mark of quality to wines rather than to châteaux and based on an assessment of both production methods and the finished product. The Bordeaux red wine blend is 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot grapes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
