Château de Manissy Le Moulin De Notre Dame 2020 Tavel is a produced from certified organic and biodynamically-grown Grenache (80%) and Syrah (20%) that were hand-harvested in the cool of the morning when the grapes are at their freshest. Lovely on the nose with wild strawberry, red berry, cherry and wild herb aromas, the wine is dry, full-bodied, vibrant and crisp with rose petal, wild raspberry, cherry, sage, lavender and softly spiced on the palate. Pour with a charcuterie board, crackers and olive tapenade.

Tavel food pairings: lox with capers and cream cheese, grilled salmon steak, seared tuna.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An organic Rosé from the Southern Rhône. A pretty medium coral colour with aromas of strawberry, peony, lavender, fresh thyme and a splash of sandy minerals. On the palate, flavours of bright red berries, melon and pink honeyed grapefruit. Light to medium bodied and dry with lingering sweet herbs and spices that play together nicely. Crisp, balanced acidity and repeating notes of pomegranate. Enjoy this with baked Cheese and berries or herbed seafood dishes. Tasted September 2021
