Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Les Brulieres de Beychevelle is the third wine from the renown Chateau de Beychevelle, Grand Vin de Saint-Julien. The same rigorous process of wine making was used to create Les Brulieres de Beychevelle 2014. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this classic Bordeaux show aromas of black plum, fruitcake, violet, bay leaf, smoke and cedar. Medium bodied and elegantly balanced, Les Brulieres de Beychevelle exposes a know-how from generation to generation and offers a supple and satin feel on the palate. At the first sip, ripe plum, black cherry, violet, graphite, tobacco, pepper and cedar, all come together to form a well refined wine. Pair with red meat or on its own. Enjoy!
Château Beychevelle Les Brulières De Beychevelle 2014 is a 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 44% Merlot red wine blend from the Haut-Médoc in the Bordeaux wine region. "Les Brulières de Beychevelle" is a Château Beychevelle wine from 12 hectares located just south of Saint-Julien belonging to Château Beychevelle. Drink now or hold in cellar for five years. Pair with roast chicken or grilled game meats. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
