Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Harvested from over 30 year old vines on the Twenty Mile Bench, this riesling is complex, clean and compelling. Fragrant diesel aromas. Flourishes of fresh peaches and white orchard fruits on the palate supported with a stoney minerality. Enjoy, Sampled at Taste Ontario! March 2020.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Definitely some sweetness. However, nice acidity to keep it balanced. Notes of apple, lime and finishing with wet stone. Small lot production- may be hard to find. Pair with a mild beef curry. Tasted at Taste of Ontario April 2019.
From Stratus Vineyard, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Charles Baker's Ivan Vineyard 2017 Riesling is vibrant, juicy and a silky mouthful of soft orange, fine herbs and flinty, mineral flavours. Perfect for pork chops from the grill. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
