Reviews and Ratings

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very pale straw in colour with aromas of petrol, green apple and melon. It is light bodied with biting acidity and flavours of lemon and minerality. Tasted on March 27, 2018 at Taste Ontario.
From the Twenty Mile Bench in the Niagara Escarpment wine region, Charles Baker Ivan Vineyard (2016) is a classic Niagara Riesling from a master winemaker. From Charles Baker's Ivan Vineyard with low-yields and rich fruit is this brilliant lemon-green Riesling with bright and zesty acidity, citrus, limestone minerality and dry, very dry. Well-crafted and well done. This wine is designated Kosher. Drink now and for the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
