Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From the Golden Mile Bench in the Okanagan, C.C. Jentsch Small Lots Cabernet Franc 2015 is rich and full on the palate, intense with layers of ripe dark raspberry, wild strawberry, savoury herbs, mocha, anise, cedar and white pepper spice with a comfortably warm (15.1% abv), long and satisfying finish. Well-balanced with velvety, fine tannins and good acidity for food. So much to savour here. We paired this 100% Cab Franc with a roasted, smoked paprika grouse in bannock.

Wine grapes were hand-harvested at an average to 25.6 Brix. The wine matured in a mx of French and American Oak barrels for 16 months. Drinking beautifully now, but could easily cellar for another year (Tasted July 2020).

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
