Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Gewurtz that is begging for food. A full palate that has a hint of sweetness but is perfectly balanced with apricot, peaches and rose petals. Lychees and white flowers complete the bouquet. Perfect to pair with chicken tikka marsala. @wrightwineblog
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A delicious Gewurztraminer from Alsace, this pale yellow wine delivers floral aromas (so indicative of the grape variety) and sweet stone fruit on the palate. Slightly viscous with a round, mouth feel and a spicy finish. Recommended with medium Indian curry dishes and of course, Thai cuisine.
From the Alsace wine region, Cave Hunawihr Kuhlmann-Platz 2018 Gewurztraminer is lovely on the nose with rose petal, honey-peach, lychee and ginger aromas on the nose with same on the palate delivered with refreshing acidity. Chill and enjoy with Korean-style pork ribs. The Cave Vinicole de Hunawihr was formed in 1954 by wine producers who wanted to show and make wine reflecting the quality and terroir of Hunawihr. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
