Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Dark cherry coloured. Fruit has receded but this remains a nicely blended and structured wine. Tannins are refined. Nice lingering finish. Serve with light cheeses, duck or turkey. Tasted April 2019.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Vibrant aromas of red cherry and red plum with some subtle black pepper. Nicely built with good acidity and medium tannins. Flavours include a balance of fresh and ripe red fruit with hints of cedar, sage, and spice. Plays well with grilled foods including chicken, pork, and vegetables.
Cave De Visan, Visan 2015 is a Grande Reserve Côtes Du Rhône-Villages produced from organically-grown and hand-harvested, Old Vines Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. The wine is bright and smooth on the palate with crushed raspberry, blackberry, underbrush and white pepper flavours on the palate. Elegant and juicy. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2017 Concours des Vins d'Orange. - Community Wine Reviews
