Reviews and Ratings

Traditional Method / This Brut (dry) French sparkling wine is produced by Cave De Beblenheim. It's light, with mouth-watering notes of wild field raspberries and some toast, especially on the finish. Medium-bodied and juicy with a savoury goodness. Stock up for weddings. Pair with fried chicken. MINE: Produced by Cave De Hoen Heimberger, t. Serve at 6-8 degrees C. This Alsatian rose sparkling wine is made from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes. OTHER: Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: A straightforward bubbly that has modeled itself after the dryer style of Champagnes. Benefiting from being served with foods that have an element of fat/oil/salt. Enjoy with smoked salmon. OTHER: This dry, pale-salmon sparkler, made in the traditional method, displays a fine effervescence that persists on the palate. Delicate aromas and flavours of red field berries - cranberry, currant and raspberry - dominate, while lively acidity carries the flavours through a crisp, palate-cleansing finish. A great wine for sipping or paired with salads, fish or white meats. Score - 4 Stars (out of 5) (Susan Desjardins, winecurrent.com, Dec. 8, 2015). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
