Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Chianti shows some berry on the nose and is quite pleasant on the palate - medium bodied with a hint of sweet and sour cherry, and a subtle earthiness on the finish.
Castello D'albola (2013) is a medium-bodied Chianti Classico from the Tuscany wine region. The wine blend is Sangiovese and Canaiolo from the 15th Century winery. Lovely cherry, earthy smooth wine to pair with a cheesy pizza. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
