Casal De Ventozela 2020 Espadeiro rosé is produced from 100% Espadeiro, a traditional grape variety native to the Vinho Verde wine region. Bright with a lovely spritz showing ripe strawberry, citrus, earthy, fine herb and spicy flavours on the palate balanced with food-friendly acidity. Pour with grilled calamari or a more casual herbed flatbread.

Rosé food pairings: salads, stir-fried chicken-flavoured tofu, veggie kebabs.

From the Vinho Verde wine region, Casal De Ventozela Rosé 2020 is a vegan-friendly rosé produced from 100% Espadeiro, a traditional grapes native to the Vinho Verde region. Dry, crisp with a mild mineral spritz, bright on the palate with ripe strawberry, raspberry, fine herbs, citrus zest and a fresh and spicy finish. Casal de Ventozela was founded in 1983 and the estate has recently been certified for “Integrated Production” which refers to a sustainable farming system involving the entire vineyard as an ecosystem and the preservation and improvement of soil fertility. - Community Wine Reviews
