Casa Silva Gran Terroir De Los Andes Los Lingues 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from sustainably-grown grapes sourced from the Colchagua Valley. Grapes are selected from three blocks of the oldest vineyards planted in 1997. Most of the wine is aged in barrel with 20% in stainless-steel tanks. Look for bright blueberry, blackberry, dried fine herbs and savoury spice flavours on this smooth, elegant and well-balanced Chilean red.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled venison steaks, steak and kidney pie, sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Casa Silva, a well known winery located in the Colchagua Valley of Chile, offers a splendid 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, the Los Lingues. The wine shows refined aromas of cranberry, red, currant, black pepper, jalapeno, graphite, baking spice, leather and cedar. Perfect on its own or paired with red meat, this powerhouse Cabernet Sauvignon shows a full body, agreeable balance, and long and well layered finish. Palate: black plum, blackberry, dried herbs, mint, leather, tobacco, spice and cedar. Enjoy!
