Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The Canonica a Cerreto 2016, a Chianti Classico Riserva crafted in the Tuscany region in Italy, shows amazing quality and aromas of raspberry, cherry, potpourri, balsamic, cured meat, cinnamon and vanilla. Blended from 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, the wine is full-bodied, with generous tannins and smooth acidity. The finish is well structured, great for food pairing. Palate: dark cherry, raspberry, dried flower, leather, cinnamon, tobacco and vanilla. Enjoy!
