Lots of dark chocolate, coffee, espresso and mocha aromas on the nose and palate from generous oak aging. Coconut and blackberry jam on the palate. Medium-bodied and smooth. Pair with Mexican mole. The wine's label is named in honour of explorers Lewis and Clark who mapped the Columbia Ridge in 1805.
Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

Blackberry and shaved chocolate on the nose supplemented with a palate that is loaded with stewed jammy fruit, cassis dripped blackberries, blueberries, earth and cedar. Perfect tonight for dinner, served with bruschetta and homemade meatballs.
|From Horse Heaven Hills in Washington Canoe Ridge The Expedition (2015) is a young Cabernet Sauvignon with dark chocolate blackberry flavours. This is an easy-drinking Cab from a single vineyard. Pair with roasted root vegetables and steak. - Community Wine Reviews|
