Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This elegantly coloured bottled of Rosé is like fine jewelry for your table. The fancy pink diamond colour is the result of the winemaker's delicate touch when the grapes were hand harvested and full bunch pressed to minimize colour from those rich and deeply coloured California grapes - Grenache, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Syrah all sourced from Sonoma County. Angels & Cowboys Rosé shows cherry, rose petal, and white pepper on the nose. Incredibly dry and exceptionally refreshing, this Rosé has serious structure making it idea for enjoying with food. Tasted February 2017 at the Vancouver Wine Fest. 90-91 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Cannonball's Angels & Cowboys (2016) is the colour of a "champagne diamond" the very palest salmon-pink. On the palate pomegranate and floral flavours met a racy acidity with a vibrant citrus finish. Serve with roast chicken, seared tuna, summer salads and crab cakes. Wine blend for this rosé is Grenache, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah from Sonoma County's Carneros, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley. The wine underwent a slow and cool fermentation to maintain fruit freshness and rested on its lees for two months allowing it more structure and a softer mouthfeel. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
