Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Campo Viejo Reserva 2015 is a wine you buy for the quality and freshness of a Spanish wine. The wine shows aromas of sour cherry, dried blackberry, rosemary, parmesan cheese, cigar box, dill and cedar. Harvested in the Rioja Valley, this full-bodied wine delivers silky tannins and lengthy acidity. The finish shows dried fruit and a warm coating journey. Palate: sour cherry, tart blueberry, mustard seed, dried rose, tobacco, wood burner and cedar. Enjoy!
Janet Holden rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This ruby red wine has good depth and complexity for the price.

Ripe cherry, and red fruits are balanced with cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate, and vanilla aromas.

On the palate, flavours of cocoa, tobacco, coffee, cedar, pepper and spice dominate.

The finish reminded me of a chocolate covered maraschino cherry. Tasty!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
