Liquid gorgeous! Full-bodied, savoury, mouth-watering, knee-bending. Aromas of black plums, bacon, smoke, hedonism. Just the right amount of oak like a loosely thrown shawl over an evening dress.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

I have one bottle left of this gorgeous Merlot in my wine rack. A complex and elegant wine with aromas of juicy plums and cherries, smoke and a hint of spice. It's a full-bodied wine on the palate with those dark fruits accompanied by flavors of licorice, smoke and some oak. This gorgeous Merlot will go with most meats you can serve, including pork, beef and lamb.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Swear out loud amazing! Campfires, baking spices, ripe plums, with a hint of black licorice both in aroma and flavour. The holidays in a glass! And forget pairing this one with a meal... *this* is your meal! Enjoy now, or lay it down for a few more years.
