From the Veneto wine region, Brigaldara 2015 Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico is a vibrant blend of 45% Corvinone, 45% Corvina and 10% Rondinella with rich tannins. Villa Brigaldara dates back to the 15th century, now currently owned by the Cesari family. The Classico is produced from the vineyards surrounding the villa. Grapes were dried for 120 days and aged one year in oak barrique and two years in oak foudres. Fragrant with black cherry, vanilla and sweet tobacco aromas on the nose, this is a smooth, classic Amarone with rich dark chocolate, dark cherry, vanilla and subtle spicy flavours supple and long on the palate. Drink or hold.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico food pairings: meat filled pasta with rich tomato sauce, onion tarte, meaty stews.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
