Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicate fresh cherry nose with fine bubbles, followed by delightful cherries and lemon on the palate. Very dry with a finely balanced mouthfeel and fresh finish. I recently tried this with a spicy Indian curry and it was a delicious combo. Definitely worth remembering at this great price.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Bouvet Brut Excellence Crémant de Loire has restricted nose, but makes up for it on the palate, with fine effervescence that fills the mouth with yellow apple and gooseberry notes followed by fine nutty undertone finish. It is a medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with good acidity and medium finish. It is a food friendly as well as a sipping wine; drink now and for the next few years (cork enclosure). My impression: quite NICE, 89 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted in Dec/15.

This French sparkling wine from the Loire Valley is called a Crémant and uses the Méthode Traditionnelle or traditional winemaking method used in Champagne. Produced by Bouvet-Ladubay, this zesty bubbly is made from Chenin Blanc grapes. Racy acidity with a good finish. Pair with fried foods. - Community Wine Reviews
