Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fastastic offering from Tuscany, featuring black cherry, tobacco, singed herb, pepper, and some baking spice. Drink now through 2020. 90 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is both soft and muscular. It has a ripe plum aroma and flavour coupled with a distinctively nutty taste. The tannins are high and well-integrated and provide lots of structure for hearty meat dishes given its full mouthfeel and long oaky finish.
Borgonero is a full-bodied Italian Tuscan wine from Borgo Scopeto, a well established winery near Siena in the Chianti Classico appellation. The red blend is 60% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah. Pair with rich tomato sauce and pasta. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
