Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Blended from primarily Cabernet Sauvignon (82%) along with 18% Syrah. Aromas of blackberry amd black currant, with hints of smoke and spice. Full bodied, smooth with soft tannins, and ripe, plush fruit on the palate. Hints of spice and smoke carry through on a lengthy finish. I would take a hint from the label and curl up next to a fire with this and read a good book.
From the Columbia Valley, Washington Bookwalter Readers 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, medium-plus- bodied Cab Sauv with liquid blackberry, savoury spice, stony and clean mineral flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine. Enjoy with a grilled flat iron steak. - Community Wine Reviews
