Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mouth-watering, super fresh and aromatic sauvignon blanc from California - grapefruit zest, white grapefruit, lemon, lime, lemongrass, passionfruit, and honesuckle. Great acidity, and a flavor that lingers quite a while (grapefruit, lemongrass). Would contrast well with some glazed carrots, or even hold up to a light coconut curry.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very pale coloured, dry and light bodied. Opened with a strong vegetal aroma which blew off quickly, settling down to sweet lemon curd and white grapefruit. Fresh and spritzy tart lemon and grapefruit in the mouth. A wonderful choice for summer sipping! This would also pair well with simply grilled white fish or chicken.
Produced from sustainably-grown Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes sourced from Lake County, Sonoma County, Benziger 2018 is a dry and crisp Californian Sauvignon Blanc, mouth-watering with white grapefruit zest, Meyers lemon, tropical fruit flavours. So refreshingly good! Chill and enjoy or pair with salads. - Community Wine Reviews
