Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby coloured, full bodied and dry wine. Pronounced aromas of fresh and vibrant black fruit (black currants and black plums ) with green bell pepper and a mineral note. Black currant and green bell pepper predominate in the taste along with a stemmy note.
Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, the smooth tannins and ripe black fruit create a rich mouth filling wine. There are hints of sweet basil and mint, layered with cocoa spices and cassis. A great pairing for a juicy rib-eye with a side of mushroom risotto and grilled broccolini. Enjoy now or age for the next 3 to 5 years.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very smooth, ripe cab suv from California! Cherry, plum, blackberry, and dark chocolate. Smooooooth... but not cloying. Good to pair with BBQ (burger, ribs)
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma county, at 14.5%. Dark plum and berries aromas and on the palate. The oak aging brings out vanilla on the palate and the finish has notes of mint. Medium-acidity, this wine will go well with lamb and beef dishes. Moroccan spices come to mind.
Benziger Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is certified sustainable. A full-bodied Cab with ripe dark plum, black currant, savoury herb, black olive and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. Wine grapes are sourced from cooler-climate Sonoma Valley. The winery has been certified for sustainable farming organic and biodynamic since 2006. The wine spent 16 months in oak barrels. Pair with a grilled steak. Enjoy now and for the next four years. - Community Wine Reviews
