Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A full bodied red wine that is fruit forward with spicy undertones coupled with a mouthwatering acidity and robust flavors of sour cherry, blackberry, cranberry and garden tomatoes. Perfect with homemade pasta in a tomato sauce, topped with basil freshly picked out of the garden.
The Piedmont three -- Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto make up the blend for Beni Di Batasiolo Langhe Rosso (2014). Great acidity on this wine that is crying out for a rich meat-filled pasta and tomato sauce dish. Cherry nots comes through with some nice acidity, as well as tobacco and savoury spice. Nice price. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
